Happy Feet!

Miles had an appointment with an Orthopedic Specialist today because of our concerns with his foot shape. Our Pediatrician asked us to have Miles wear his shoes on the opposite feet to help with the problem, but doctor today told us he can now wear his shoes on the correct feet! Terry and I were very happy with the news but Miles was so happy that he took 3 steps this evening!!

I love this picture because it is an example of Miles' response to the white noise from the running water. He fell asleep every time we got near the water!


Miles loved spending time with his cousin. He enjoyed crawling up to Zephyr and invading her personal space.


It looks like Miles took this photo, but he is really just hiding on Terry's back.

We will be out of town for about a week..... back to blogging when we get home. This is another example of Miles' love of hugging. It looks like he is hugging the stuffed animal but he is really hugging a comb he is holding in his right hand. Funny stuff.

DUI

Yesterday Miles was not feeling well so I gave him a little Tylenol. He loved the taste of the Tylenol so much that he insisted on carrying the medicine syringe around with him. Here he is trying to use his walker and hold the syringe.


Stopping to see if he missed any of the sweet stuff the first 100 times he put it in his mouth.


Unwilling to put the syringe down, he resorted to a half-walk half-crawl.


After a few thought filled moments Miles realized that he could set the syringe on the bottom part of the walker and use both hands to hold on.

Don't worry I keep all the meds locked up and out of reach :)

Hugs

Miles currently loves to hug everything. And I mean everything. Here is a list of a few things he has hugged today....
1. Duke
2. A hair he found on the floor
3. A q-tip
4. His spoon
5. Many of his books
6. A rock
7. My cell phone
8. Terry's belt
9. A hanger
10. His watering can

It was a long night.....

Miles has been sleeping SO much better over the past few weeks (knock on wood), but with a new tooth coming in, last night did not go so well. When Miles has a less than outstanding night his hair shows it.
