La La La

Miles has his school Christmas Show today! Jingle Bells is the first song that Miles has ever sung out loud, so the fact that he wanted me to record him singing (in a very quiet voice) was a huge deal to me. I am pretty sure that Miles will not sing at all during his "tv show" but we will find out in a couple hours.

Miles and Mae had a fun and busy Halloween!

I got Miles' costume for $11 on Amazon and I made Mae's (she is supposed to be a dalmatian but sort of looked like a mouse or a rabbit). All night people kept saying, "Your son is such a cute....mouse?" Next year I will try a little harder.

Miles got to wear his costume to school and all the kids walked in a trick-or-treat parade

Miles is already embarrassed by us. The SWAT costume was too funny!!!

Miles got bubbles, fangs, and other toys from his school party. He really just wanted candy, and lots of it.

I tried really hard to get at least one good picture of the fire fighter with his dalmatian.....no luck

Mae was not a fan of her headband and would take it off about 2 seconds after I put it on

we took the kids to my parent's to show them off and go to the church Halloween party

after the party we trick-or-treated at a few more houses around our house

We let Miles choose "One more" piece of candy when we got home...I was unaware that one of the houses gave full sized candy bars. Guess what he chose for his last candy? We cut off a chunk and ate the rest after he went to bed

Mae seemed to have fun. She stayed in the stroller, while Miles went up to the houses, and quietly sucked a Mounds through a hole she bit in the wrapper.

Since Halloween Mae has continued to dress up in my clothes....she is a funny one

Over the past few weeks, Miles and Mae have been busy playing and making lots of messes.
