8 Months Old

It is hard to believe that Mae is already 8 months old!

Mae is kind of tired of me taking pictures of her

So big! Mae just realized that she can lift her arms over her head. She is very happy about it.

Mae loves music

She enjoys the taste of grass

Miles loves her and hates her to touch his toys all at the same time

She is starting to enjoy mealtime

Mae wants to do everything just like Miles

Mae is so over baby toys

Peek-a-boo is her favorite game

She does not enjoy wearing a hat (unlike her brother who wears his most waking hours)

She is the sweetest!

This is not the best example of Mae playing peek-a-boo but I love that Miles is telling Terry to "eat your dinner" in the background.

Hello Underwear

When you tell your child they can use the money they "earned" using the potty to buy any toy they want, be prepared to come home with one of these.....

Party Time!

Yesterday Laura and "The Girls" came over for a little Valentine's party and a trip to the dairy. The kids made some crafts, drank chocolate milk, and ran around like crazy people.

Esme or "Girl Baby" as Miles calls her, was happy to do her own thing

Mae enjoyed her new ability to scoot crawl

Mae was ready to party!

Amazing works of art

gluing is serious business

Esme had no fear....

Miles and Audrey or "Big One" or "Red Shirt" as he called her

Amelie made sure that Miles followed the rules

The day was so fun that when the girls were ready to go Miles had a major meltdown and sobbed himself to sleep yelling "Red Shirt come back!" Luckily it only took him about 30 seconds to fall asleep. We had a blast and we can't wait to play together again.

Made By GG

(I didn't want to leave Miles out)

Aunt Darcy was nice enough to let Mae borrow some of the baby clothes that were made by GG. Is there anything cuter than a baby wearing bloomers?!

The Wild Animal Park

The carousel was the highlight of the day for Miles.

Miles waiting to make his move...he never did

This was the first trip to the Wild Animal Parkwith both kids and since we don't have a double stroller we had to take 1 stroller for each kid. Mae had a good time and Miles really enjoyed the open space. We will definitely be back soon.
p.s. we did see animals, we just don't have pictures to prove it
