Worms

Miles has been spending lots of time in the backyard looking for worms. The other day I got him a new shovel and I don't think he has ever been happier. He brings his shovel in the house at night so that it won't "rust and get ruined."

9 Months Old

Time is really flying by! The last month went by so quickly that I have a hard time remembering how old Mae is. Since she is always on the move I had to put the sticker on her back this month.
Mae just got her first tooth and I just noticed that the second one is on the way.
Mae prefers sunglasses over wearing a hat.
Like I said, Mae is no longer as easy to take pictures of....
She still loves her bath
She also continues to throw her arms over her head when you say "So Big!"
Mae is so sweet! She loves to wave and play peek-a-boo. Mae is not a great sleeper but over the past few nights things have really gotten a lot better (since I stopped nursing her back to sleep). She eats about 8 ounces of food a day and still nurses A LOT. Mae loves to play with Miles' toys and books and wants very little to do with her boring baby toys. I swear that Mae can say "hi" and I even have video of it but I am too embarrassed to post it because I sound so crazy in the background. Mae weighs a little over 20lbs and wears size 12-18 months! She is still very vocal and even "talks" herself to sleep. Mae loves to listen to Terry play the guitar and lights up when we sing to her. She is happy and easy going (sort of....not really) and so easy to love.

Under the Table

A few minutes ago, when I was putting up the photo of Mae under the kitchen table it reminded me of an old photo of Miles under the table. To me they don't look alike at all......

All Better

Miles and Mae are finally better! They have never been that sick before and I hope we don't have to deal with anything like that for a long time. During their bout with croup Mae got her first tooth and gave up her pacifier while Miles got hooked on juice and lots of t.v. So this week Miles has some habits to break while I try to force Mae to get back into the habit of taking a pacifier (so I can get some sleep).
