Terry has 5 weeks off and we are going to do our best to enjoy every minute of our time together...so far, so good

Yesterday while Miles and I were having a quiet moment sitting next to each other on his bed, he looked down and quietly said, "Oh shit. I have hair on my arms." Not sure that would qualify as an "Oh shit" moment for me but to each their own.

Party Time

For Mae's 1st Birthday we had over a few family and friends. We made a healthy breakfast :) and hung out for a few hours.



Mae was not so sure about us singing to her....but she did enjoy the frosting


Mae loved all her gifts and Miles made sure to get in on some of the attention by hugging Mae while all eyes were on her.

One Year

The last year has been filled with so much love for our Sweet Girl. Terry made a video for us that we thought we would share if you would like to see it

Sunday Evening

Big Jump

Miles can find all kids of ways to entertain himself...he did this for at least 30 minutes

Baby!

Mae has been saying "baby" for a couple weeks and I still can't get over how cute it is. She loves her baby and often falls asleep holding him.

Rock n Roll Marathon

Miles and Sullivan were too cool with their glasses and cape. They were so cute!!!!

On Sunday Terry and his friends ran a half marathon in San Diego. The guys did great and had a blast.
The kids and I came along and spent 2 nights in La Jolla. I forgot to pack the camera so these are the only photos we have from the weekend. Miles and Mae both loved the beach and the hotel. The glass elevator and many waterfalls were a big hit. The weather was perfect and you can't beat the ocean air. It is always good to get away no matter how little sleep I get :)

Well Rested (knock on wood)

Now that Miles uses a nasal spray before bed, he is no longer waking up to ask us to wipe his nose.
I got this gem of a toy at the curch rummage sale for $2. What a score! Mae is already able to go forward and backward and she is pretty pleased with herself.

Now that Mae is sleeping in her crib the mornings are filled with reading and playing rather than fussy baby time.
