Miles caught a serious case of pinkeye on our trip to Morro Bay. He is doing much better and I will be posting pics from the trip as soon as I am done wiping gunk out of Miles' eyes.
Even with pink eye, he is still adorable! I can hardly wait to see more photos. I love the weekly updates from "Grandma Grace" on Miles weekly visits. But of course "more is better"!
Cleanliness is next to godliness, or so I've been told.
For real though, I read a study that said that antibiotic drops or meds don't shorten the duration of the bacteria at all, so many docs don't prescribe anything anymore- just a thought if the meds are a pain. Pinkeye runs its course in 6-8 days with or without meds. Breastmilk does help clear up the surface bacteria. If you want the links to both studies I can dig them up for you! Hope Miles is better SOON!
I have performed a study and am here to tell you those drops work! Audrey was the crustiest kid on the block when she had pink eye and with 2 applications we were looking tons better. I know it's a challenge but for sure worth it. Now, if it were the viral variety nothing would work, but that is a whole different story. Get well Miles, and don't let your mommy give that stuff to me!
