this is a super boring post about Mae's first ponytail (if I may be so bold) and my kids playing with the 50lb bag of rice I bought...both things have brought me lots of enjoyment. Although Mae's ponytail looks like one of an old hippie, I can feel the real ones getting closer (ponytails not hippies). I have been watching youtube videos to learn how to do all kids of braids for Mae's hair but I get the feeling it might be awhile

Now that Miles and Mae want to play together/bother each other ALL THE TIME, I have had to come up with some new ideas that will keep them both busy and happy. A trip to Smart and Final and The Dollar Store made all our dreams come true.

Miles also enjoys cutting any and everything I will allow. He spent about 30 minutes stabbing holes in this box with his scissors....let's hope my next post is not about a trip to the emergency room

Clever past times, learning experiences, a little down-time for mom and playing side-by-side by the siblings--good planning. Love, Grandma Grace
I hope Mae does not take after her cousin Zephyr by HATING to have her hair groomed or styled. She has all kinds of hair that I am not allowed to do anything fun with!
no words for the ponytail....
